LOG is a religious group of women which works for the awareness of Christian women in backward areas. We the women meet weekly for pray and Bible study. LOG is also working for the betterment of unskilled women which work in the houses of others at very low wages. We go home to home to aware them about the importance of skills. At the moment we are giving moral sport to the depressed women but in future we want to setup women skill centre and schools.
Our Missions:
The mission of the LOG ( Lovers of God) is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God in all the world, make disciples in all nations and care for those disciples and Empowering the poor through education, biblical studies and different ways.
EPTE (Empowering The Poor Through Education):
EPTE is a big part of our ministries. I have told you that EPTE is a social, non profitable and non political organization. we work for the betterment of the students and families. There are many hurdles confronting the promotion of education some of them are :
Poverty and lack of information on the side of the parents;
Lack of relations and cooperation among parents and teachers;
Carelessness on the side of the teachers;
Lack of sports, games and other talent rising activities in schools.
We try to over come these hurdles through different ways
We arrange and conduct meetings with uneducated parents and on with youth working at shops and factories.
We arrange seminars for the teachers.
Teachers and parents teams are formed and regular meeting are held to discuss students matters and social problems.
We meet heads of schools discuss school dropouts.
We collect funds for co-curricular activities sports, etc. to help poor students. we arrange different programs for the students.
We are doing this work with the help of teachers. we want to extend our activities . We request you to shear this good job.
LOG Prison Ministry
Lovers of God Prison Ministry is involved in reaching the un-reached inmates of Punjab, Pakistan. Hundreds of inmates are waiting for literature, Bibles, New Testaments, Books, some one to pray for them, help their children to go school.
We are involved:-
Literature distribution (Punjabi, Urdu and English)
Bible, New Testaments as well as other biblical books.
Correctional Talk & Bible Study, Meeting.
Refreshments for inmates and staff.
Inmate needs (Cloths, Shoe, Stationary items)
